From the first announcement in 2007, Meizu’s M8 mobile phone has been the subject of endless speculation; indeed, final specifications and availability were mostly shrouded in mystery.

Now it’s time to reveal the mystery.

On February 18, 2009 Meizu released the M8, the company’s first mobile phone, onto the China market.  Retail prices were set at 2380 RMB for the 8GB version and 2880 RMB for the 16GB version.
